Our Team

Miss Mel, B.A., CMCP, RYT 200, RCYT

Owner | Registered Children's & Adult Yoga Instructor | Certified Master Coach Practitioner

Melissa began her exploration with yoga in 2000 with Burt Peeters as a way to reduce stress. In 2014, she combined her love of yoga with teaching children by completing her 95 hour Children’s Yoga Teacher Training. She is the Owner and Head Instructor at Breathe With Me Yoga. Fun ways to practice Hatha yoga, healthy breathing and meditation are consistent points of focus in Melissa’s classes. Melissa’s teaching style is intuitive and nourishes the hidden strengths of her students. Your children will leave her classes feeling calm and enthusiastic about the practice of yoga.

In July 2015, Melissa completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with renowned Master Instructor Francois Raoult at Open Sky Yoga in Rochester, NY. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher with the International Yoga Alliance. Melissa brings all that she has learned and practiced for more than 15 years together with this certification to her classes.

Melissa advances her education and practice through classes with Burt Peeters and in completing specialty workshops. These include “A Stairway to Calm” with Maggie Denison, “Mindfulness for Children” with Young Yoga Masters and certifications through YoKid.

Melissa continues to inspire and empower others with Positive Mindset Coaching and is a Certified Master Life and Executive Coach with the Certified Coaches Federation.

Weekdays on Facebook, Melissa hosts “Story Time Yoga,” where she interprets kids books through yoga.

Children's Instructors

Miss Nancy, CYT95

Certified Children's Yoga Instructor

Nancy is a mother of three and has a background in Social Work. After her oldest child faced some challenges with anxiety, she found Breathe With Me Yoga. All three of her children continue to participate in Breathe With Me Yoga’s classes and have for several years.

After noticing the benefits of mindfulness, concentration and overall better mental health, Nancy was inspired to train as a Children’s Yoga Instructor. In October 2018, Nancy completed her Children’s Yoga Teacher training with Young Yoga Masters in Toronto. She continues to attend workshops and trainings to further her skills. It is with great excitement that Nancy joins the Breathe With Me Yoga team to continue her journey of helping children.

Miss Isabelle, RYT 200, RCYT

Registered Children's & Adult Yoga Instructor

Isabelle is fascinated with the body and its ability to heal naturally through energy and movement. Her own 20-years of practice has led to a deep understanding of adapting and accommodating the body’s ever-changing needs. Isabelle has much gratitude for her ongoing practice, as it allows her to function daily with little pain or discomfort. In 2014, Isabelle immersed herself in an 8-month meditation training in Samadhi. She followed this training with an 8-week mindfulness meditation course and certified as a meditation Instructor. In 2018, Isabelle completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher training in Niagara Falls, followed by her 95 hour Children’s Yoga Teacher training in Burlington. Isabelle was intuitively drawn to chair yoga and has just completed her Yoga for Seniors teacher training. Having children herself and having worked for the french school board for the last 12 years, Isabelle has seen first hand the vast array of technology that children have in their lives. She would like to help raise a more mindful society, while guiding children to a place of self acceptance, calm and presence.

Isabelle continues her education through ongoing workshops and courses and looks forward to empowering her students with all that she has learned. She enjoys teaching all levels and age groups and is currently offering specialized classes for adults, seniors, and children in the Niagara Region.

Adult Instructors

Miss teacher, RYT 200

Registered Adult Yoga Instructor

MISS TEACHER was brought to yoga over X years ago. MISS YOGA uses yoga for increased strength and flexibility.  However, the growth she experienced was in her own self-awareness, self-compassion and overall practice in kindness.  Yoga allows for the breath to deepen and space to pause within.  In a society where we rush from one thing to the next, constantly trying to change our health, our bodies, our environment, our emotions or to plan our future, yoga opens up the possibility of connecting to what we already have and to who we already are.  MISS TEACHER goal as a yoga instructor is to allow for that space, encourage the balance and welcome the silence.

If you are a certified yoga teacher and love to work with children, please email us a resume and references.

We will contact you for an interview.
